About Mark Chae PhD
A former researcher with the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Mark Chae, PhD, has pursued a number of corporate research projects over the past decade. He is currently a co-principal investigator on a Johnson & Johnson Clinical Intervention & Evaluation Grant undertaken by JFK Family Medicine Center. In this role, Mark Chae, PhD's work focuses on pregnancy, vaccination rates for common diseases, and perinatal education.
Dr. Chae is also a co-investigator on a three-year Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Grant focused on type 2 diabetes mellitus diagnoses among ethnically diverse patients. He has completed an Aetna Clinical Evaluation Grant project on, among other topics, social support and psychosocial functioning among economically disadvantaged women.
With a masters in applied psychology and an EdM in psychological counseling from Columbia University, Dr. Chae pursued his PhD in APA-accredited counseling psychology at Seton Hall University. Mark Chae has served as an associate professor with the Rutgers School of Health Professions, where he taught graduate-level courses such as Medical Aspects of Disability and Personality & Psychopathology.
